Instead of the traditional Easter dinner, I decided to test out a crock pot Beef Stroganoff recipe. It was a really big hit! The boys really liked it and there wasn’t any left over! I love it when I cook something new that everyone loves! Continue Reading →
So…found another recipe on Pinterest (a website that I will completely credit with my odd desire to suddenly learn to cook). This one is a Parmesan crusted chicken recipe. It got mixed reviews. Tony and the boys didn’t like the texture of the topping, but I thought it was good. The chicken was incredibly moist and tasty! Continue Reading →
Served up another family favorite for dinner tonight. Tony teases me because I went through a phase where I made everything out of crescent rolls…lol. It’s true! But this one was a big favorite! There’s never any left over and it’s so easy to make (I really like easy after a full day at work!)
This morning I made a cinnamon french toast bake for breakfast. Found the recipe on Pinterest (my favorite)…and everyone really seemed to like it! I’ll have to remember to leave one section pecan free for John – he can’t do the nuts…but otherwise it smelled heavenly and everyone cleaned their plates! Here’s the recipe if you want to try it!
This is the second time I’ve made these little pineapple upside-down cakes. The guys love ‘em and they don’t last long. Here’s the recipe if you want to try them out…
Another yummy dinner. I made Sheppard’s Pie for the guys. Tony and John liked it…the boys didn’t like the veggies in with the meat…but they picked ‘em out and inhaled the rest! ha ha! I’ve got to remember to take photos BEFORE everyone eats my food!
Another yummy dinner from a recipe idea on Pinterest! I baked the shrimp in the oven covered in butter and lemon juice. Boiled the pasta per instructions on the packet. I dumped 4 tbs of butter and a half cup of Parmesan on the hot, drained noodles…and then just mixed it all. The guys loved it!
Another yummy crock pot success. I threw together some chicken and dumplings today…and they were great! I made enough for leftovers for tomorrow. Gonna be just as tasty reheated. The chicken was moist and just shredded…and the sauce was tasty! Even the dumplings were good! Hooray!
