What is High School B.E.A.S.T. Formula Athlete Training? The Transforming Athletics High School training program has been designed from the ground up to take your athlete to the next level, whether they're just going into high school or about to play in college. Using our exclusive assessment process, every athlete is provided with a customized program for their goals, needs and abilities. This customization will make sure their current strengths are maintained and their weaknesses corrected. Every training session will include:  Mobility and flexibility training so your athlete can move better and stay healthy  Speed & agility training so your athlete can accelerate and change direction as quickly as possible – 10x faster than the competition  Power development training so your athlete can be the most explosive player around– play after play  Strength training so they can always have the upper hand. With all else equal, the stronger athlete will ALWAYS win. Unlike other programs where kids are left to learn on their own, we make sure every athlete gets the individual attention they need to master these skills and get the most benefit. Off-season athletes may train between 2-4x per week, and in-season can train between 1-3x per week. With Transforming Athletics' B.E.A.S.T. Formula, you will head into your next season a completely different athlete – better prepared, more confident, and ready to dominate. Who should train with Transforming Athletics? Anyone looking to:  Improve their on-field performance  Get more playing time  Prevent injuries  Prepare for the transition to High School or College  Build Confidence We have trained athletes from many area high schools in every freshman, junior varsity, and varsity sport. What will I get from training at Transforming Athletics? Using the B.E.A.S.T. Formula as a foundation, athletes will: Athletes at all levels need to have the mental skills needed to succeed during the highs and lows of competitive sports and academic environments. Our approach to the Athletic Mindset teaches these athletes skills, such as  Overcoming failure  Learning from mistakes  Handling success – both short- and long-term Build a healthy Nutritional foundation: Any high school athlete looking to succeed needs to understand how to eat – both for performance and body composition. Fat slows down an athlete, and the food choices that lead to being overweight also slow down the brain as well. Eating clean will help with all aspects of an athlete’s career. Train Smart: Getting better is not always about being pushed through the most grueling workout. Using the latest research, our training programs have helped athletes: Recover- Most high school students and athletes live very stressful lives, and simply do not do what they need to in order to recover. Sleeping better, de-stressing, and using proper physical recovery methods will mean better performance and less injuries, all season long. How do I get started? When training at Transforming Athletics, every athlete will go through a thorough assessment. The assessment includes: 1. Goal setting session where the athlete can work with a coach to set their short- and long-term goals 2. Functional Movement Screen revealing what athletes can improve in order to stay as healthy as possible 3. Athlete Performance Testing which will evaluate speed, strength, agility, coordination, explosiveness, and endurance 4. Program Selection where the coach, parent and athlete will work together to find the optimal program. After this one-hour process, the athlete and their family will know exactly what they need to work on to be their absolute best. What training options do I have?     We have a Son at Centennial High School in Burleson. We are interested in the evaluation and would like some more info about the process. I attended your nutrition clinic last month.
