Ole!

Served up another family favorite for dinner tonight. Tony teases me because I went through a phase where I made everything out of crescent rolls…lol. It’s true! But this one was a big favorite! There’s never any left over and it’s so easy to make (I really like easy after a full day at work!)

Name of Dish: Taco Crescent Circle
Ingredients:
2 cans of crescent rolls
1 lb of hamburger
2 cups of shredded cheese – Several slices of American Cheese (or deli cheese)
1 pkg. taco meat seasoning
shredded lettuce
salsa, sour cream, guacamole (jalapenos if you like them), onions
Directions:
Unroll the crescent rolls and place them in a circle on a pizza pan – points out.
Overlap the wide ends so it looks like a sun.
Cook the hamburger meat with the taco seasoning. Drain.
Put one teaspoon of taco meat on each of the crescent rolls on the wide end.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese (leave some to sprinkle on top later).
Add jalapenos if you want. or onions. (optional)
Fold the pointed ends of the rolls over the meat and tuck under the wide end.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the rolls.
Cook the oven according to the instructions on the crescent roll tube.
Remove from oven when crescent rolls are nice and golden brown.
Put shredded lettuce in the center of the ring and top with scoops of salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.
Serve warm
