So…tonight I made ham and cheese sliders for the guys…looks like another hit! Tony was actually pretty happy with them…so I was happy! Really easy to make. They don’t look like much but they are straight-up comfort food!
Ingredients:
- 24 white dinner rolls
- Sliced deli ham
- Sliced Swiss cheese (or American…the boys actually preferred the American cheese)
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of Yellow Mustard
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
- Mayo or Miracle Whip
Directions:
- Cut the dinner rolls in half and spread a little mayo on both sides
- Place ham and cheese on bottom of roll and put the top on
- In a bowl melt the butter then mix in the Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, and onion (mix well)
- Use a spoon and pour the mixture on top of the rolls – covering the tops (don’t dump the whole thing on there…you may have some left over)
- Let the rolls sit for about 10 minutes so the butter starts to solidfy
- Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted through
- Remove foil and bake for another 2 minutes
- Serve warm
