Sliders

So…tonight I made ham and cheese sliders for the guys…looks like another hit! Tony was actually pretty happy with them…so I was happy! Really easy to make. They don’t look like much but they are straight-up comfort food!

Ingredients:

  • 24 white dinner rolls
  • Sliced deli ham
  • Sliced Swiss cheese (or American…the boys actually preferred the American cheese)
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
  • Mayo or Miracle Whip

Directions:

  • Cut the dinner rolls in half and spread a little mayo on both sides
  • Place ham and cheese on bottom of roll and put the top on
  • In a bowl melt the butter then mix in the Worcestershire Sauce, mustard, and onion (mix well)
  • Use a spoon and pour the mixture on top of the rolls – covering the tops (don’t dump the whole thing on there…you may have some left over)
  • Let the rolls sit for about 10 minutes so the butter starts to solidfy
  • Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted through
  • Remove foil and bake for another 2 minutes
  • Serve warm
