November 3rd turned out to be a big day medically for The Estes Bunch. I had foot surgery and Amanda had to have her gall bladder out. Both surgeries went well.

I was off my feet for 8 weeks – but fell in the shower and added 2 weeks to the non-weight bearing rule by my doctor because I cracked the bone again.

Amanda recovered really well from the gall bladder removal – she had over 100 stones! But when she went back in to have two loose stones removed from a bile duct…she got pancreatitis and wound up in the hospital for a week. It was a terrible and we are so glad that she is recovering and doing so much better! We did spend quite a few days curled up in my bed watching TV together though…bonding time…ha ha!
