Ocean Quest Summer Camp

All this week we’ve been running Ocean Quest…a camp for 4-6th graders with an Ocean theme. We’ve made origami whales, learned about echo location with a robot, participated in scientific experiments using probes and data loggers, researched and created movies about sea animals, built an inflatable 80-foot whale you could walk in, and ended our camp with a fun field trip to the Dallas Aquarium.It has been tiring, but enriching. I’ve really learned a lot from the kiddos at camp. Now, however…I’m ready for a nap! Ha ha ha! Here are some of the highlights from camp.
